Terms of Service – Wise Excellence<\/strong><\/h2>\n

\n1. Parties<\/strong>
\nTutor: Wise Excellence (\u201cTutor\u201d), a sole proprietor\/Pty Ltd registered in South Africa, contact: info@wiseexcellence.co.za, +27\u202f76\u202f372\u202f4035.
\nClient: The person contracting the services (if the student is a minor, the parent or legal guardian).
\n
\n2. Scope of Services<\/strong>
\nTutor commits to delivering Financial Accounting tutoring tailored to exams and clarity, including lesson planning, materials, support, and feedback.
\nSessions may be conducted online, in-person, or hybrid, as agreed upon at booking.
\n
\n3. Session Schedule & Location<\/strong>
\nSessions are scheduled per mutual agreement, detailing dates, times, and mode of delivery.
\nOnline sessions will use platforms like Zoom or Teams; access details will be shared at least 24 hours before the session and agreed upon in advance.
\n
\n4. Fees, Payment & Invoicing<\/strong>
\nFees: The quoted standard rate per hour for your chosen tutoring session (or package rates if applicable).
\nPayment: Due before or immediately after the session, via EFT or other agreed methods.
\nLate Payment: A 5% monthly administration fee will apply to overdue payments.
\n
\n5. Cancellation & Rescheduling<\/strong>
\nClient Cancellations:
\nNotices made \u226524 hours prior to a session are eligible for a full refund or rescheduling.
\nNotices made <24 hours before may incur full session charges.
\nTutor Cancellations:
\nTutor will refund or reschedule any canceled sessions promptly.
\n
\n6. Late Arrival<\/strong>
\nIf the student is more than 15 minutes late, the tutor may consider the session canceled and may charge accordingly.
\nIf the tutor is late, the session will be extended time-for-time or rescheduled.
\n
\n7. Obligations<\/strong>
\nTutor:
\nArrive prepared and punctual.
\nProvide clear, exam-focused instruction.
\nMaintain confidentiality of client and student information.
\nClient \/ Student:
\nArrive prepared, with necessary materials.
\nProvide truthful information about academic needs.
\nRespect tutor\u2019s professional boundaries.
\n
\n8. No Guarantee of Results<\/strong>
\nWhile the tutor aims to enhance understanding and performance, no specific grade or outcome can be guaranteed. Efforts are made in good faith and aligned with industry standards.
\n
\n9. Confidentiality<\/strong>
\nAll shared materials, personal data, and session details are confidential and will only be used for tutoring purposes. This aligns with protections under POPIA (Protection of Personal Information Act).
\n
\n10. Intellectual Property<\/strong>
\nMaterials created or provided by the Tutor remain their intellectual property.
\nClients may use them for personal educational purposes only – reproduction or distribution is prohibited without written consent.
\n
\n11. Limitation of Liability<\/strong>
\nTutor liability is limited to the amount of fees paid.
\nThe Tutor is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, academic outcomes, or delays outside their control.
\n
\n12. Termination<\/strong>
\nEither party can terminate the agreement with 7 days\u2019 written notice.
\nRefunds will be prorated for unused paid sessions unless termination results from policy breach.
\n
\n13. Dispute Resolution<\/strong>
\nDisputes should first be addressed informally via good-faith discussion.
\nIf unresolved, disputes will be governed by the laws of South Africa and resolved in the relevant courts.
\n
\n14. Amendments \/ Updates<\/strong>
\nWise Excellence may revise these Terms, effective upon posting on the website with a minimum 7-day notice before they apply to new or continuing clients.
\n
\n15. Governing Law<\/strong>
\nThese Terms are governed by South African law.
\n
\n16. Acceptance<\/strong>
\nEngagement with or payment for tutoring services implies full acceptance of these Terms.
\nIf involving a minor, the parent or guardian must sign or otherwise accept on behalf of the student.
\n
